Page F6 - F9 Position- An object’s position is its location compared to the things around it. Motion- A change in an object’s position compared with fixed objects around it. Motion can also be described by giving an objects position at different times. Distance- The length between two points ( starting point and ending point). Speed- How fast an object’s position changes with time at any given moment. Speed can change from moment to moment. Average Speed = Total Distance Traveled Divided by Total Amount of Time Speed is expressed in units of time: (Miles per hour) (feet per second). |
