Soil- Soil is the end result of weathering. Soil is loose weathered rock that can support the growth of rooted plants. Soil Mixture: weathered rock humus air water living things humus- material produced by breaking down plant and animal remains. Bacteria, fungi, worms, and insects all help in the formation of soil.
