Create your own wiki page by following the directions below.
1. Open a new internet window so you can see these directions while you are following them.
2. Go the class wiki page by clicking on the link titled "Butterfly Field Guide Wiki".
3. Sign in as "student" with the password of "murray".
4. Click "Create new page" at the top of the workspace
- Type "Your Name and the butterfly name"
(ex: Mrs. Murray's Monarch Page) into the page
title and click "Create new page"
- Once you type something on the page (Anything!
Click "Save")
When you have finished creating your page, you need to link your page with the main page. Follow the directions below to link pages together.
Linking Pages Together
To navigate from one page to another, you'll want to link pages together.
1. Go to the main page of the class wiki and click "Edit"
2. Type "Your Name and your butterfly's name"
--Example Mrs. Murray's Monarch Page
below the information on the project.
3. Select the text and click the "Insert link" button (the world icon on your tool bar)
4. Choose "Link to a page" and locate the page you just created (example: Mrs. Murray's Monarch Page.)
5. Once you click "Ok" and "Save," you'll see that your page now links to your butterfly page.
Make sure to add a link from your page back to the main page too.
