Science Fair Project

Question = Statement of the Problem

Clipart from Theteachersguide.com

After choosing a TOPIC and doing some RESEARCH, you will most likely have many QUESTIONS! You will need to choose a QUESTION that does not have an answer in a book. Something that you wonder about, that you think others should wonder about, too.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
is your QUESTION turned into a statement! This is what you hope to determine.

Example: The problem is to determine how changing the concentration of Aspirin administered to
developing plants affects their growth.

Example: The problem is to determine if 2-pound test fishing line REALLY holds 2 Pounds of fish.

Record statement in your Science Project Log.

You will also need 2 TYPED copies:
one for your notebook and one for me.
