How to make a fortune teller prediction:

1. Start with one of the time expressions from the vocabulary.
2. Add tú vas a . . .(you are going to)
3. Choose a verb like ser, tener, comer, hablar etc.
4. Finish the phrase with something clever or interesting.

Examples:

Algún día tú vas a ser presidente de los Estados Unidos. Some day you will be president of the United States.
Mañana tú vas a tener un dolor de cabeza. Tomorrow you are going to have a headache.

*In order to use the word “nunca” you must write a negative sentence and replace the word “no” with “nunca”

Examples:

Tú no vas a ser presidente de los Estados Unidos. You are not going to be president of the U.S.
Tú nunca vas a ser presidente de los Estados Unidos. You are never going to be president of the U.S.

Assignment: Write 8 predictions that can be used in a fortune teller. Be sure to use a future time expression from the vocabulary. Fortunes should be original and witty, but never hurtful or inappropriate. Hand in rough draft at the end of the period or finish for homework.
