Tutor duties: (To be performed with empathy for the reader’s feelings, attitudes, and personality) a) Diagnostic testing to determine reader’s reading level b) Selection of reading and writing materials at appropriate reading level and interest c) Planning and preparation of lessons and activities d) Tutoring three days a week e) Preparation of summary and anecdotal reports f) Weekly report to classroom teacher g) Evaluation of reader’s reading progress h) Participate weekly in class blog discussions Reader’s duties: a) Active participation in the daily activities presented by the tutor b) Co-operation with the tutor, teacher and other classmates. c) Completion of daily work and assignments d) Regular attendance |
